Adrian
Crawford teaches life skills to cognitively challenged students.
Students learn how to tell time, count change and perform
other everyday skills that most people take for granted. The
+30-year veteran teacher's goal? Start at the beginning and
finish at the top, enabling these students to someday live
on their own.
"I want these kids to be living happy,
independent lives. It's important we don't
put a ceiling on what they can achieve."

"Many
teachers would look at Adrian's job and wonder why anyone would
want it. Adrian looks at her job and wonders why anyone wouldn't
rejoice in having it."
