| Along with the many functional academic
skills that students must learn in the areas of language, reading
and math, it is also important that special needs students develop
independent skills that are a part of daily living. The cooking
and telephone programs are basically written in outline form
to assist teachers in teaching specific skills for students
to acquire the knowledge to become independent learners. |
