A crucial skill for all students is the ability to tell time
using variable vocabulary. Adults often express time using
"half past" or "quarter to." It is imperative for students
to understand these vocabulary references in order to fully
understand time concepts. After students have successfully
completed telling time in standard measurements, the next
level of instruction is teaching students the alternate methods
of telling time.
Worksheets are included for practice and review for each
of the seven levels of instruction. The workbook is designed
to be used as a student workbook or as a guide for teachers.
Individual worksheets can be used as practice after instructing
students with the aid of manipulative clocks and/or cards
with various rotary clock times printed on them.
